A two-part course offered by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA), Organic Farming: Principles and Practice is designed to provide farmers with a strong background in soils, weeds and pest management, enabling them to make good management decisions. It is geared toward those who want to gain a greater understanding of the biology and ecology behind better soil, pest and disease management, weed management and hence better crops and healthier livestock.
The course will take place in Augusta, Maine on March 18th and 25th between 10 am and 3:30 pm.
