It’s our yearly summer blow out,

Its two jam packed days of north country activities: Blacksmithing at the horse nail factory, tubing in Ausable chasm, tour of the underground railroad museum, guided naturalist hike up  Pocomoonshine mountain, hay wagon multi-farm tours, visit the homestead of abolitionist John Brown, or hit the trails in 6 million acres of wild forest. Options for everyone, so pack up a wagon and get yourselves north for a weekend away!

Just a reminder that our next YFN is TOMORROW!  All are welcome – don’t let the “Young” part of “Young Farmer Night” keep you away!!
We will be meeting at 6pm at the Anawan Grange, 118 Bay State Rd, Rehoboth, MA.  There will be a meet & greet, potluck, and panel discussion featuring folks involved with organizations such as the Farm Bureau, RI Agricultural Partnership, National Young Farmers’ Coalition and the New England Farmers’ Union.  Please bring a potluck dish to share and your own plate & fork!

We’re at it again: throwing parties. Join us for two hoe-downs at this year’s SSAWG Conference Jan 23-26 in Little Rock, Arkansas. We’ve teamed up with a whole slew of friends to host evening affairs and we hope you can join. We’ll also be selling t-shirts to benefit SSAWG financial need scholarships. reminder: washington young farmers mixer

That’s right, the Washington Young Farmers Coalition is doing it again, and this year, we’re teaming up with Viva Farms and Happy Little Farm to present you with a better-than-ever, not-to-be-missed night of potluck and revelry, spit-roast and dancing with the Tuckborough Stringband, farm jokes and celebration. Help us wrap up the 2012 growing season in high farm style!
