SUNY Adirondack will host a free, day-long soil seminar on Tuesday, March 17. Three farmers-and-more will speak on topics including carbon-smart farming, soil minerals and microbes for optimum growth, and new food standards based on nutrient density.
This is an especially exciting time for farming as we learn more about how soil sequesters carbon and how our climate benefits from certain farming practices. This seminar is both a starting point on climate beneficial farming while also diving deeper on specific topics.
Where: SUNY Adirondack campus, Scoville 206 (building) at 640 Bay Road, Queensbury, NY.
When: Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 10 AM to 3 PM EST
How much: Free!
