Provider Farm is a diversified, biodynamic farm located in Salem, Ct. We grow 14 acres of vegetables for our CSA, farmer’s markets and whole sale accounts. We also maintain a small heard of cattle for our grass-fed beef operation.. We believe that animal integration is essential for a sustainable farming system. Our goal is to combine efficient farm systems with holistic farm planning to create and run the best farm possible.

Apprentices will participate in all aspects of farming at Provider Farm. This includes feeding and care taking of the livestock; pasture rotation and management, seed propagation, transplanting, weeding, mulching, greenhouse management, harvesting and post harvest preparation as well as the use of biodynamic preparations. We aim to provide our apprentices with an in depth overview of all aspects of our operation and facilitate a mutually beneficial hands on learning opportunity.
