The Washington Young Farmers Coalition is hosting a Spring Farmers Social!
Sunday, May 22nd
2pm crop mob, 6pm potluck
@ Dog Mountain Farm
7026 Tolt Highlands Road NE, Carnation, WA
Join us for an afternoon & evening of mingling, working together & celebrating spring!

Crop mob! Learn how and help construct a 26’ x 48’ greenhouse all while meeting some other farmers. We will also build raised beds for the flower gardens and be getting our seasonal platform tent up for the summer B&B.

Processing Poultry with a WSDA Food Processor License
Cindy Krepky, owner of Dog Mountain Farm has a WSDA certified facility on site (under 20,000 birds per year) and will be discussing her experience with the permits, regulations, building the permanent facility, and more.  Bring your questions!

6pm Potluck!  Bring a dish to share – Show off what you’ve grown lately!

Things to Bring
- your potluck dish
- cup, plate & silverware
- work clothes, sturdy shoes, a pair of gloves
- hat, sunscreen and/or rain gear
- drills with 5/16 and 7/16 socket bits for self tapping screws
