I used to dumpster dive for fun. I have a toaster that I got in the dumpster of a department store that I have been using for over 10 years! A set of 8 white egyptian cotton towels, and a black iron pot rack are still all in service, from the same time frame, as well. There is are so many great, useful items that are just thrown away, into the landfill in this country.
