“Pig Business on Capitol Hill”

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9
6 p.m.

U.S. CAPITOL VISITOR CENTER
North Orientation Theater
Washington, D.C.
The main entrance is located on the East front of the Capitol at First Street and East Capitol Street, NE

This event is free and open to the public. The film will be followed by a panel of expert speakers;

  • Michael Greger, M.D., Humane Society of the United States
  • Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Waterkeeper Alliance
  • Andrew Kimbrell, Center for Food Safety
  • Kathy Ozer, National Family Farm Coalition

CLICK HERE to encourage your Members of Congress to attend by signing our CHANGE.ORG campaign, or better yet contact them directly. And please share the campaign with your organization and supporters of this movement.

By inviting your legislators and President Obama they will understand how the factory farming system:
  • abuses animals by keeping pregnant sows in narrow steel cages on bare concrete floors
  • sickens neighboring residents with toxic fumes
  • pollutes rivers and the coast with untreated waste causing massive fish kills
  • endangers human health by overusing antibiotics
  • destroys rural communities by driving  local family farmers out of business
