Maine Farmland Trust is hosting a premier of 8 short documentaries by filmmakers Cecily Pingree and Jason Mann, which tell the diverse stories of eight Maine farms: from Aroostook to York, from potatoes to dairy, from large commercial operations to small farms that sell directly to local people.

6:00-7:15PM Farm-Fresh Food
Sourced from local farms in Maine, and generously prepared horsd’oevres by Primo Restaurant, Amalfi on the Water, In Good Company, Cafe Miranda, Thorndike Creamery, Lily Bistro, and Farmers Fare cash bar for drinks
7:15PM Meet Your Farmer Premiere
With commentary and Q&A by filmmakers Cecily Pingree and Jason Mann, featured farmers, and MFT executive director John Piotti
9PM Post Screening Reception
To enjoy while sharing thoughts about the films with friends, farmers and filmmakers; Coffee donated by Rock City Roasters with a taste of scrumptious Maine ice cream from Stone Fox Farm Creamery and a chocolate surprise from Black Dinah Chocolatiers
Ticket prices:
For the entire event – $20 for MFT members; $25 for non-members (sold out)
Film and coffee reception (doors open at 7:15) – $10 (tickets still available)
