My Heroic Friends,

House Parties are springing up like sunflowers throughout the Fabulous Neighborhoods of NYC and Savitri and I are basking in the wonderful visions, hope and dreams of the people we meet there. And money’s being raised!

These House Parties have become an essential component of our grassroots efforts in this campaign. This is where we connect with the true power of community, the true engine of NYC (as opposed to the corporations that Bloomberg relies on.) Please consider hosting one yourself! If time isn’t on your side, keep it simple – donate!

You can even host a house party if you don’t live in NYC because we need our heroes from all over the country and the world to be a part of this movement. Though I may not be able to be there in person, introduce your friends to a virtual me by screening What Would Jesus Buy and then engage in a rousing discussion of how the ideas in the movie can and will be translated into transforming a city.

Then, come join us in San Francisco on July 21st for a sermon by Rev. Billy and music by the Loyd Family Players and DJ Smoove! After that, we’ll see you in Sunset Park, Brooklyn for a BBQ on July 19th.

And PLEASE join us for our ELECT-A-LUJAH! Vote Rev Billy Fundraiser at the Highline Ballroom, Monday, with the Rev and Life After Shopping Gospel Choir, Joan Baez, Jollyship the Whiz-Bang, Greta Gaines, the New York Street Vendors Chorus, Yetta Kurland and NYC Green Party Candidates!!
